What Makes a Good Man?

So here we have Kenji, a renowned thief that has gone on the straight and narrow. Now he works as a private investigator, helping the people that fall through the cracks, recovering lost items, and assisting clients with, shall we say, sensitive matters that they can't g to the police for. He does this all for a fee of course, because if your good at something, you don't do it for free.

There's also The Ghost. A masked vigilante that's been stirring up trouble,pulling heists on corrupt officials, shaking down Triad members for information, and generally causing trouble for the criminal underworld at large.Many rumors surround this mysterious figure, some say he's an angry spirit that was out to protect the corrupted city. Others say he's a former Triad himself that met a painful and untimely end and now  if you see him it's as a omen of disaster to come. Some think he's a man with supernatural powers that allow him to walk through walls

Of course what nobody knows (except a certain someone) is that Kenji and The Ghost are the same person. Kenji uses the mask and his specialized bending talents to create this myth and cover up his sometimes less  than legal methods to help his clients. It serves a double purpose to keep the Triads from connecting him to anything and to keep the police heat off is trail (because they are all too eager to arrest him again if he steps out of line)

Friends

Kenji is a master thief and now a private eye so he makes friends easily enough by
playing whatever role and adopting whatever guise he needs to. He has many associates and contacts, but  actual friends are a rarer thing to come by. When Kenji's not trying to fool you or get information out of you, his personality can be a bit of an acquired taste. He's cocky, cynical,and definitely too smart for his own good. But if you can manage to deal with his occasional bouts of ego, you find he's a surprisingly loyal friend to have.


Enemies

Well that is a much longer list. Police don't like him because they either think he's one step away from going back to his own ways and because he's literally made a business of taking cases they can't or wont take and solving them. Some criminals don't like him because he's gone straight and also because he has made a point of not working for any Triads, since he's started up. Meanwhile his masked persona The Ghost has caused headaches for the underworld and several Triads have placed a bounty on his head. So he's got no shortage of enemies that's for sure.


Lovers

Kenji's lucky in many things, but love is not one of them. He's was in a heavy relationship years before he came to Republic City, however she betrayed him and left him holding the bag on the job. So needless to say he's got trust issues. Since that relationship went up in flames, he still flirts plenty, and has a had a few casual flings here and there, but he's kept his heart on lock down. However if cynical private investigators are your thing your more than welcome to try and break through his wall.


Clients
