Rise From the Ashes

Republic City has taken many victims, and the Fire Nation Ambassador did not escape its wrath. Zula’s had her whole life--and everything she believed about it--ripped out from under her. She made plenty of mistakes after that, but all led her to reaffirming who she is as a person, and becoming The Cinder. Zula’s had a lot to learn, and she’s still learning as she goes. But she isn’t discouraged. Alongside her sister and new friends, Zula is here to protect the city, and find a way to take down The Shadow once and for all. 

Friends 

Zula has never been one to have many friends. She’s had political alliances and been polite acquaintances with noble families, but her social skills never were the best in the real world. Being unprepared for that, and her inability to let people past her walls, left her without many people to turn to in hard times. Zula has very few friends, but they are each important to her in their own way, and she’ll protect them with her life. She isn’t keen to let new people get close to her, but that isn’t to say it’s impossible. Be persistent and show her the good, and Zula is more likely to start to cautiously develop a new friendship. 

Enemies 

While she used to think of this as nothing more than her those on her opposing political side, her enemies now are more brutal. As The Cinder, she’s gained a nice group of enemies with The Black Hand, and others who don’t like to have vigilantes running around the city. In Zula’s eyes, if you’re committing a crime and it’s hurting the innocent, she’ll find a way to stop you. Touch her family or friends, and you’ll find yourself with a special brand of Zula’s anger, and a target on your head to match. 

Lovers 

If friendships are hard for Zula, love has been nearly impossible. Zula lived her life expected to let her mother have her engaged to a man of her choosing. While part of her is still waiting for that surprise to happen, Zula wants to avoid it at all costs. Unfortunately, she is a terrible flirt, and struggles to even let loose on a night out. Zula has a very guarded heart, and so don’t be surprised if efforts to gain her affections fall flat. If by some miracle you manage to break past her walls and have her let you in, consider yourself to be very, very lucky.
