ALIAS(ES):
Zana: While her birth name (and Fire nation name) is Zuka her father wanted to give the twins a water tribe name but her mother would not allow it..so as a compromise he came up with names that mixed both nations and the outcome was Zana and Zara but still their mother would not budge. After her father died Zuka used this name as a alias on the streets to separate her from her mother and the Republic City high society.
Z (or Zee): A simple nickname that her closest friends like to call her sometimes.
Lady Ou-Yong: Her formal title back home but if anyone calls her that she’ll kill them.

POWER:
Waterbender: Zuka is considered a waterbending master, having mastered the art at 15. She excels at difficult forms of bending and is creative when it comes to using water as offensive and defensive weapons. She is proficient in the old waterbending style, having the chance to train with waterbending masters of the Northern Water Tribe
Plantbender: After mastering waterbending Zuka moved on to more difficult art forms. Plantbending came fairly easy for her and she was able to master the art after a year. It is not something she uses often but it's nice to know she can.
Bloodbending: Having practiced and trained for years in secret Zuka has finally managed to gain control of this forbidden art and while she is still a long ways away from using bloodbending without the help of the full moon with the moon she can be deadly. After a close call that almost killed Kenji Zuka doesn't try to use the technique often but she will use it if need be, it having saved her life a number of times as The Talon.
Nonbending martial arts: Growing up thinking she was a nonbender for the first ten years of her life Zuka had begun a education in the nonbending fire style and she is very good at it. Again, having the privilege of private masters to train her she has trained in the art even after realizing her bending power and still does to this day and will combine the martial arts with her waterbending to create a unique style.
Weapon training: Going hand in hand with the fire nonbending fighting style Zuka learned to fight with weapons as well, her mother insisting even if most people did not carry weapons these days like they used to. She found that the sword suits her best but, she can still fight just as well with a staff. Zuka is particularly fond of the straight sword, finding that it translates well with waterbending.
Weapon Teaching: As the 'weapons expert' of their team Zuka has made it her goal to make sure that Zula is well versed in weapon self defense and she will do the same to anyone new that ever decides to join them.
ORIENTATION: Heterosexual
SCARS AND MARKINGS: Large burn/ scar on her right forearm from a run in with a lightningbender during her Triad days. The scar is rather unsightly with a large red 'splotch' where she was hit with tinier red lines snaking out from it where the lightning traveled through her body. The veins travel up her arm and around her shoulder with another large red mark on her shoulder blade where the lightning exited her body. Zuka keeps the scar covered at all times, when she isn't wearing sleeves she covers it with a arm band.
Various scars ranging from small to large all over her body from accidents and run ins from fights and other run ins as The Talon.
UNIFORM:
High society: When she has to play the part of the socialite her dress style is what we would consider old Hollywood glamour. The clothing colors are usually dark blues or varying shades of red because of her mothers affiliation with the Fire nation but Zuka does manage to slip in something a little more to her liking from time to time.
Everyday: When she isn't fighting Zuka wears whatever is fashionable for the young people of Republic City in a mix of red and blue. Zuka does has expensive taste and will splurge often on high end fashion but she can just as well wear plain and regular clothes. Being raised as a 'military brat' that style does tend to dominate in her wardrobe.
Zuka also always wears a long necklace that has her grandmothers (on her fathers side) betrothal charm on it. The charm is crafted from a moonstone that was carved into a circle to represent the full moon and a crescent moon carved from silver is placed on top to represent the waxing and waning phases of the moon.
Talon: As the Talon Zuka wears a grey hooded tunic with darker grey pants and grey knee length boots. Under her tunic Zuka wears a lightewight armor that provides minimal protection and still allows her to keep her fluid movements also under her clothing are platinum braces on her forearms that allow more protection and defecting of hand to hand attacks and weapons. Dark gloves cover her hands and the gloves are reinforced with padding and platinum coverings over the top of the hand and around the knuckles to give her more power behind her punches. The tips of the gloves are also clawed to allow her to grab onto sides of buildings more easily...and to give a more predatory look. To hide her identity Zuka wears a stylized white owl mask. The mask is made of the same metal as her weapons and secures tightly so it can not be easily ripped off. The eyes are large and covered in a special lenses similar to that of what the Chi Blockers used in their masks to make it easier to see in the dark.
The Talon
Weapon:
Straight Sword: Zukas go to and weapon of choice She carries a sword on her back as part of her Talon costume. The sword is made from platinum so it can not be manipulated by metalbenders. Zuka has constantly trained with her sword since her youth and she is deadly with it.
Smoke pellets: A novelty that she used in her early Talon days but one that proved useful and Zuka will carry some in a small pouch on her belt.
Claws: While the claws on her gloves are mostly for helping grab hold of things she has used them to swipe at people in a pinch.
Hidden water compartments: Since the Trio have started working together Teo has been busy modifying the suits at any chance he gets and he has put pockets of water inside her armor for emergency's. Inside her gauntlets Zuka has enough water to use as small projectiles if she does not want to waste the other water she carries for more heavy duty bending.
DESCRIPTION:
Zuka stands at around 5'6” with dark brown straight hair, brownish gray eyes and a darker skin tone from most people. Even thou her skin color is darker than others it is not the typical pigment of the Water Tribe people. With her father being Water tribe and her mother from the Fire nation Zuka and her sister were gifted with traits from both nations hence the lighter skin tone.
Zuka's nails are also kept fairly long and at a point...in typical Fire Nation nobility fashion. She gives the excuse that the nails help her focus her waterbending better, giving her something to focus on when forming the ice claws or something similar. The look is one thing she has carried over from her upbringing, having liked how they looked on her.
She is a thin girl with slight curves and a toned body and while she may not look athletic Zuka has a high endurance when it comes to physical activity and bending. Having had the privilege of training with a master she has a advantage over other 'street' benders. Zuka is also physically strong, her years and love of fighting have given her nice muscle tone.
PLAY-BY: Nina Dobrev
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Fear: Losing her family: Despite their differences Zuka deeply cares for her family and wishes them safe, as well as her friends and other close acquaintances.
Claustrophobic: A silly fear but a legitimate one. She can manage in small spaces for a short period of time but prolonged exposure will make her start to hyperventilate.
Desire: Zuka really wants to finally be free of her family's traditions and expectations of her and to be her own woman. It seems that no matter how much distance she puts between them or how often she ignores phone calls and letters her mother always has a way to try to draw her back in.
Now that she and the others have thrown themselves into the thick of things with The Black Hand Zuka wants nothing more than to keep them all safe.
HABITS: Zuka has a tendency to play with her nails. She will click them together or drum them on any hard surface and does this when bored, thinking or is feeling impatient.
PET PEEVE: She hates when people look down on her because shes a women and think that she doesnt belong in a ‘man’s world’ Mentioning it to her in any way is really the quickest way to pick a fight with Zuka and to get on her bad side. It was something she dealt with constantly during her Triad days and it will always irk her.
STRENGTHS:
• Strong willed
• Ruthless when it comes to 'business'
• Focused
• Knows how to work a crowd and how to get what she wants
• Can cater her personality to fit the people around her
WEAKNESSES:
• Feels like she always has to prove herself and that can cause her to push herself more than she should.
• Is a perfectionist
• Can be a hardass at times,
• Is quick to anger
• Has a habit of jumping head first into things without prior planning.
• Very stubborn and bull headed
TRAITS:
Having grown up in a very strict Fire Nation home where perfection was mandatory Zuka has a deep ingrained sense of perfection. Everything has to be done right the first time and when it isn't she is not a happy person. She tries to not let failure bother her but in reality it does a great deal and she will go to great many lengths to make sure she comes out on top. She is well known to demand too much from herself, working herself thin and always pushing herself past the envelop and training in something or another. Even if she is considered a master in her art forms there is always someone better than you. At least, that was what she had been taught.
While Zuka prefers the freedom of living in the city and likes her 'reckless and uncivilized’ (per her mother) lifestyle she is very good at blending. Years of high society teachings just don’t go away and she can fit into the high society, prim and proper role with ease. A useful skill in these times, dealing with the people she does Zuka needs to know how to maintain relationships with her rich and power friends.
Zuka is the type of person that if you tell her not to do something she will do it out of spite or, if you tell her to do something she was already planning on doing she won’t do it. She has a problem with authority and authority figures, having an overbearing mother has made her bitter at people in positions above her and she will let them know it. Usually this consists of blatant defiance but, if you earn her respect and give it in return she can be very kind and accommodating. Once she has these relationships with people she will never let them go she is extremely loyal if you can reach that point with her. Abrasive at times she can be diplomatic but it really depends on her first impression of you and how you treat her.
She was a brat growing up and while getting away from her mother and her demands has lessened that part of her it still does manage to come through in situations. While she enjoys the benefits of being a Triad leader and enjoys the power she has she is not afraid to get her hands dirty and more often than not will be out on the streets with the rest of her girls and putting herself in the middle of the turf wars. She loves the fight.
Zuka has calmed down somewhat. Working through her own trials and tribulations and working alongside Kenji has given Zuka a chance to grow and she has. While she still can be rash, stubborn and impulsive she has learned to stop and think more. Zuka still loves a good fight however, that is something that will never leave her.

HISTORY:
Then:Zuka's story starts the very same as everyone else's. Her parents fell in love while her father Sota, -a young Water tribe councilman for the Northern Water Tribe from Republic City was doing a goodwill tour to the Fire nation. During his stay he met Zuka's mother Feena, the daughter of Fire nation nobility and the product of a long line of Commanders and Admirals in the Fire Nation Army and Navy. Somehow the two fell in love (Zuka never really understood it, her father was so kind and gentle and her mother was so vain, strict and power hungry but love is love..) After a two year courtship Sota made the decision to move to the Fire nation and marry Feena. The young councilman still held his seat on the council and would make the trip for every meeting and would split the year: half with his wife and half in Republic City. It was hard on Feena but she refused to leave her home, having never traveled outside the Fire nation she didn't want to start now. A few years into the marriage It wasn't long after that they two parents were blessed with twin girls.
Before the girls were even born Feena already had their life planned. They would follow in her footsteps and attend the Royal Fire nation Academy for Girls, they would have the best education and grow up to be proud Fire nation nationalist, learn and practice the customs and someday they would marry well to do, respectable Fire Nation men (and if she had any say in it one would be married to the Fire Lords son) and be well taken care of. But there was one thing that was important above all else. Feena's children would be benders...above all else they would be benders. Feena even picked out names that represented the past two Firelords. Zuka: for Firelord Zuko and Zula: for Firelord Azula in hopes of gaining favor with the royal family. Sota was not happy with his wife's name decision, he had wanted Water tribe names but, Feena being how she was wouldn't allow it, it would not go over well for the children (or her) if they didn't have Fire nation names while living in the Fire nation. Image and tradition was everything to her and while Sota understood he still wanted some of his culture to reflect on his children, the Water tribe had a rich heritage and he did not want it lost on the girls but...Feena was relentless. Sota even tried to come up with a compromise, picking names that fused elements from both nations: Zana and Zara but still...no luck. Eventually, after much fighting and threats from both sides Sota gave in and let his wife have her way...in the end all that mattered was as long as she was happy he was happy (and sane..)
As the girls grew older (around the age of 7) Feena did not hesitate to enroll the girls into bending training. She hired the best firebending master money could buy for private lessons. There had been no signs as of yet that the twins would even be benders but the woman was so confident that this seemed like a no brainer. Feena had come from a very long and powerful line of firebenders, there was not a non bender in the bunch and it wasn't going to start now. At least, that was what she hoped. Zula was the first to firebend and the parents were overjoyed. The element came easy to her and it did not take long for Zula to move up to more advanced training. Zuka..on the other hand, no such luck. No matter how hard she tried the child could not generate fire. That did not stop the tiger mom however, Feena pushed both girls and kept Zuka in training, making sure the twins got a education in bending and martial arts. If her daughter couldn't be a bender at least she could fight like one....somehow in the woman's mind that made up for the fact that her daughter was 'normal' it really shouldn't have bothered her..there had been plenty of great non benders in Fire nation history. Mai, the Firelords wife was a non bender and a force to be reckoned with...yes, everything would be fine. At least that was what she kept on telling herself, in reality Feena was disappointed and there were times when she blamed her husbands for their daughters lack of bending ability.
Three years later, after a petty fight and hurtful words from her sister about who their mother loved most Zuka ran from their home and went to the back garden to sit near the pond. She couldn't explain it but something about being near the water always made her feel better. It was her favorite spot to go to and she had crafted a little makeshift fort by it with the help from her father and they would sit out there for hours while he told her stories about his family and the people of the Water tribe and the waterbenders. It fascinated Zuka, and (she loved the Fire nation but it didn't feel like home, even at such a young age she knew she didn't belong there.) while this pond held such good memories and was a escape she came to too feel better it wasn't enough for the young girl on this day. Zuka was so angry with Zula that it made her shake. Eventually Zuka gave in to her emotions and began to cry and burred her face in her knees. As she sat there, crying she felt something wet and had thought it had started raining but she chose to ignore it. Let it rain, perfect way to match what she was feeling. It wasn't until she heard a splashing noise that she looked up. Water....water was in front of her, and not just in the pond, it was actually in front of her. Two pillars of water shot up into the air as she continued to cry and stare at the pond. As the sudden realization of what was happening hit her the water splashed back down into the pond and drenched her. She just bended the water....she was a bender..she was a waterbender!
Zuka's little legs could not run fast enough as she ran back toward the house so she could show her mother what she could do and rub it in Zula's face. Their mother would be so proud of her now that she was finally a bender and like the rest of the family. The wet little girl ran all through the house trying to find her mother and sister. When she finally found them Zuka started talking excitedly to her mother about what had just happened but Feena did not hear a word her daughter said, all she saw was a nice and expensive outfit ruined. When her mother started yelling at her for playing in the pond Zuka kept trying to explain herself and when that still didn't work she could feel herself starting to get angry; angry that her mother wouldn't stop to listen to her good news and angry because she was getting yelled at for doing nothing wrong. Fine, if she didn't want to listen Zuka would just have to show them: And show them she did and bended the water out of her clothing and into a nearby plant.
The blank faces that greeted her were not what she had been hoping for. Zuka thought they would be happy for her, happy that she finally figured out how to bend. Sure, it wasn't firebending but it was still bending, right? Apparently she was wrong. The young girl was overjoyed to finally be able to bend but Feena was not too pleased. She had come from a long line of Fire nation nobility and benders and would rather her daughter be a non bender than a waterbender. Upset, Feena sent Zuka to her room and had a emergency letter sent to her husband who was taking care of some council business in Republic City. When Sota received the letter he returned home right away a few days later and after a very lengthy argument and both parents yelling on how to handle the situation (Feena wanted to ignore it but Sota wanted their daughter to learn, it was her right as a bender and as being part Water tribe) a agreement was reached. Zuka would learn how to waterbend but she would do it in Republic City while accompanying her father whenever he had to travel there for a few months a year for business. This news was bittersweet to the young girl, while she was happy to get away from her mother who shunned her and disappointed her and happy to learn how to waterbend while spending more time with her father Zuka did not want to leave her sister behind. Zuka tried to talk Zula into coming with them but the other sister would not give.
At first, the move was hard but the training was harder. Zuka had never been outside the Fire nation and never to a city like Republic City. Feena had done a great job at sheltering the girls when they were younger, it took a little time but Zuka quickly assimilated into the melting pot culture with help from Sota. He showed her all there was to Republic City and introduced her to people from all the nations, it really was amazing to her how benders and non benders from every nation could live so peacefully. While Zuka asimulated rather easily into the city life it was the bending where she found the problem. With all of her training in the technique of firebending trying to make the switch to the calmer, defensive waterbending was well....difficult. She could bend but just not like a true Waterbender, it wasn't clicking. Zuka had been taught to shut off her emotions and that aggression was key.
After months of no progress Sota had a idea, he arranged for him and Zuka to travel to his home: The Northern Water tribe to meet his mother and to get in touch with her roots. The trip was a success, not only was Zuka able to get in touch with her Water tribe roots (she gained a few 'prized possessions' from her grandmother and the tribe) but she was also able to finally understand what it meant to be a true waterbender. Once Zuka unlocked and opened her mind to the art there was no stopping her, what she lacked in development growing up she more than made up for it now. Quickly she moved up the bending ranks and honed her skill, mastering Waterbening at the age of 14 and moving on to more difficult forms like healing and plantbending. The healing she couldn't quiet get but plantbending came natural.
It wasn't long after the girls 15th birthday when Sota fell ill, he refused any healers that came to him and said his time was near. The man gave up his seat on the council to a young man named Tarlock and moved back to the Fire nation to be with his wife and other daughter. Typically, family would come together during a tiring time like this but Zuka's mother could not and would not ever accept her daughters new lifestyle. Zuka challenged her at every turn and while she tried to obey her mothers wishes for the sake of her father Feena seemed to go out of her way to make her daughters life miserable. Just before the girls 16th birthday Sota finally passed and Zuka was devastated and really began to act out. She would wear her Water tribe clothing out in public of the Fire nation, would openly practice her bending, would run the streets with the rest of the teens and just do everything a upstanding member of society wasn't meant to do.
One night after a long and heated argument with her mother Zuka made the decision to move back to Republic City, it was where she belonged and where she could be happy...and far far away from her mother. She made quick work of packing her things and begged Zula to come with her, tried to explain to her sister how much better things were there, how they would both be happier but Zula told her she should be ashamed of herself. The look of disappointment in her sisters eyes was hard to swallow but it was then that Zuka knew her sister was too far gone, she was their mothers puppet now and forever.
Leaving home was hard but trying to establish herself was even harder. Zuka quickly learned that she couldn't just jump into things like she could in the Fire Nation Capital. There she had been known as a trouble maker and people knew of her reputation but out here? No one knew her but, that wasn't really a bad thing. While it may set her back a little it also allowed for her to make a name for herself on her own terms. There was no previous stigma of being a Noble of the Fire Nation. No one knew that and it would stay that way.
Before going to Republic City after leaving home Zuka decided to travel and see the world a little, get to know how the other half lives and learn about how things worked. She traveled to the Earth Kingdom and bounced around the villages, never staying in one spot for very long. While the villages were quaint it was a bit too rustic for Zuka’s taste and eventually she made her way to the capital city Ba Sing Se.
Now this was more like it.
It was in Ba Sing Se that Zuka really got her first taste of what it meant to be a criminal. While she knew of the Triads existence in Republic City she had never seen them first hand, her father had gone out of his way to make sure of that but now that she saw it she knew she had to be a part of it. It was a dangerous and exciting life and being a rebelling teenager it was right up her alley. Going by her alias Zana, Zuka tired to work her way into the criminal circles.
It was a lot of trial and error at first; having grown up in the upper part of the Fire Nation Capital crime was not common and her and her little ‘street gang’ would really just bully other kids so this was a bit of a rude awakening. It took some doing but eventually she was able to make it on one of the Triad’s payrolls and would help with minor jobs or to run information. Zuka was well aware of her low status in this group and she knew that she was expendable should they need someone to take a fall but she was determined to learn and make a name for herself and her willingness to jump into anything and her brute force made her a favorite among some of the gangsters. Eventually, Zuka had gained enough cred to be trusted within the group and was given a larger part to play. Mostly it was enforcing and collecting on debts but it was something.
After a few months of working with the Rat Viper Triad in Ba Sing Se Zuka was given the chance to go with some of their members to Omashu to start establishing the gangs presence there and she jumped at the chance. In the 5 months that she had been with the Vipers she had learned a great deal, but most importantly she knew what worked and what didn’t. Her education was expanded yet again when she ran into a young thief that would often pick up jobs from the Rat Vipers. The two would interact often, Zuka being in charge of relaying messages between the two and handing out locations of items to be boosted to the young man. She was curious in wanting to learn how he did the things he did: picking locks, cracking safes..things like that. After weeks of constant pestering and badgering she finally convinced him teach her, offering to teach him high society etiquette in exchange. (the look on his face when she first gave him that offer was priceless but she explained that if he ever wanted to pull higher stakes jobs off the rich he would have to learn) With working together so often the two formed a friendship, or the closest you could get in their line of work but, it worked out for them.
Zuka was nearing a year with the Rat Viper Triad when their luck changed. Omashu’s police forces, having decided they had had enough of the criminal activity decided to crack down hard on the gangs and the Rat Vipers were all but wiped out, either sent to prison or killed in fire fights. Zuka managed to evade capture and she made her way back to Republic City a new woman.
Returning to Republic City when she was 18 Zuka set about starting her own Triad, using everything she learned from the Vipers and her network of like minded indivusials she had gained during her time in the Earth Kingdom she started the long and difficult task of establishing herself a Triad leader. But, in order to do that she needed members. Rounding up a few friends that she had known from her time spent in the city when her father was still alive Zuka started the cities first all female Triad: The Dolls and set about making a name for themselves.
At first The Dolls clashed with the other Triads, competing for turf and prime locations for their illicit activites and it was during this time that realization hit her. Her father had made it his lifes work to help this city, he put his blood, sweat and tears into helping it become what it was and here she was adding to the problem. This caused a bit of an identity crisis for the young woman. Crime was running rampant since the last time she was in the city and it seemed that non benders were the targets. This information infuriated Zuka, her father had been a non bender and one of the best human beings she had ever known, he had done great things for this city and to see what his life’s work smeared like that made her blood boil. Realizing what she was doing but knowing it was too late to get out now Zuka came to a way to help both the people in the city and continue on her current lifes path. The Dolls did not exploit but protected their territory, running out the current Triads and offering free protection to the business in their district. Of course, that doesn’t mean to say that the girls don’t collect debts when they are due but people do not need to pay him for their services. The people were weary at first but eventually they warmed up to the girls and what they offered and it was because of this relationship that they were able to escape capture so many times, the people protected them.
When the Equalist began to rally and gain support Zuka kept a very close eye on them, with all the injustice the non benders faced at the hands of the benders Zuka could see the movement becoming something much bigger...her fears were realized when Amon showed the power to take away a persons bending. Something that disturbed Zuka very much, her bending was her life, it was something she had fought for, something she had lost a lot of her past for and it was not something she wanted to lose. The Dolls did not go out of their way to clash with the Equalist like some of the other Triads did but that did not mean they did not clash but, thankfully the Dolls were able to walk away with their bending still intact.
Since the fall of the Equalist the Dolls have tripled in size and continue to grow while their territory has grown into one of the more profitable areas in the city. They control the gambling in Republic City, having staked claim to the Probending Arena and race tracks the girls have their hand in just about any sport within city limits. On top of this the Dolls run underground casinos that are visited by even the wealthiest, decorated and predominant members of the four nations. Over all, life is pretty good for the young woman and she plans to keep it that way.

RP SAMPLE:
Peering around the corner of a wall next to the alley way that led to one of the underground entrances to the rebel camp Zuka scanned the street to make sure the coast was clear. She was just about to make her move when a meca tank started coming own the street in front of her. Pressing her body as close to the wall as possible she moved further back into the shadows and waited, once the tank passed, Zuka pulled up the hood of her jacket and pulled her scarf up around her mouth and walked away from the cover of the alley and toward her destination. It was a cold night, which she was thankful for. No one would question a person that looked bundled up, if it was warmer then they might suspect her trying to hide something by being so covered. This was also a night where she was thankful that she preferred a dark navy blue for her jacket instead of the traditional light blue of the Water Tribe style. The dark color let her blend in a little better and with the moon being nearly full if she was in lighter clothing she would have glowed like a lantern under the moonlight.
Quickly, Zuka made her way down the street. She had a meeting with one of her old sources from her Triad days. He gave her information about the Equalist movement regarding any raids they might be setting up, where they stored weapons and supplies...anything that could be useful. As she walked Zuka made sure to duck into alleys to avoid any tanks or vans that looked like Equalist vehicles. While she was certain she could take them on (espically with the moon being nearly full) she didn't want the conflict, all she wanted to do was get to where she needed to be without incident. It took a little longer than she would have liked with her utilizing the alleys but Zuka eventually started nearing the meeting location. As she was about three blocks away there was some kind of commotion going on up the street.
A family was being harassed by some Equalist. A mecatank had them cornered while a few chi blockers started to move in. Behind her she could hear what sounded like a large vehicle coming toward them...She would bet any money that it was a van coming to take the family to one of the prisons. The family looked terrorized, the father was unconscious on the ground while the mother and three children huddled together in the corner and pleaded to be let go. The eldest of the children tried to earthbend at the nearest chi blocker, he did a pretty good job for a kid that didn't look older than 13 but the chi blocker was better and a few quick jabs later the child was on the ground next to his father. Seeing that made Zuka's blood boil Hey! She yelled while sending a jet of water at the chi blocker that had just hurt the child. As soon as the water hit its target it instantly froze and encased the man in ice.
Just to make sure she really got their attention Zuka started rolling her hand through the air to collect the water in the atmosphere, the water formed around her fingers and turned to ice. Once she had enough Zuka flung her hand toward the approaching van and shot the ice daggers at the tires. As the tires popped the van lost control and flipped but not before a few more chi blockers could exit it. Great, now she was greatly outnumbered....
The sound of something whizzing though the air caught her attention and Zuka turned around and flung some water at the bola, turning it to ice and it fell to the ground instantly. The chi blockers and the mecatank began to form a circle around her and close in...Zuka looked around to try to find a way to escape but there wasn’t one..she was going to have to fight her way out of this. Taking her stance she gathered the snow on the ground and turned it into water and formed it around her arms, making the water tentacles If she was going down she was taking a few of them with her.
Another sound behind her caught her attention but this time it wasn't a bola coming at her, it was a chi blocker going down, and then another one. Zuka didn't know who was helping her nor did she care at the moment what mattered now was that she had a distraction to use against them. As the second chi blocker went down Zuka whipped the water tentacle at one that was closet to her and flung them into a nearby wall. This got the attention of the mecatank and it started coming at her. Who ever you are...could use some more help right now.. She said outloud to whoever this mystery person was. Meca tanks were tough customers...with electricy and that didn't sit well with the waterbender.
ANYTHING ELSE?
Zuka's old Triad is composed of all women. Unlike the other Triad's in the city the Dolls didn't exploit the non benders, instead, they set up their territory and protected them from the other Triad's in the area. However, if someone in their territory came to them because they needed a little extra protection or if they needed a 'message' sent the girls were more than happy to oblige: for the right price. They also have a bad habit of getting into 'wars' with the neighboring gangs as the girls tried to run them out and take over the other territories. One of these gang wars is where Zuka got her scar from.
One of the Dolls primary forms of income came from the Blue Dragon Club and the private casino under the club owned by Zuka as well as the couple of seedier speakeasys owned by the girls. While they get most of their money from this their other primary sources come from running gambling rings and the Dolls have all of the bookies in the city on their payroll. They run the gambling in Republic City and will take bets on Probending and any of the other sports that Republic City offers. The Casino is no more now that Zuka has gone 'straight'.
The Dolls had a pretty good standing relationship with the Red Monsoons and the Terra Triads and will sometimes run jobs for them or hire them out for that extra security.
Secretly wishes she was her sister
Secretly misses her mother and the Fire Nation, and sometimes wants to go back to her old life, even if that is usually just a fleeting desire.
Zuka's dress style is very militarized (thanks to her families history in the Fire Nation army/navy) but she manages to make it look feminine and while she may dress like she is ready for a battle at any time she does enjoy being a girl and dressing up whenever she can get the chance. She also enjoys makeup, is romantic and all that other girly stuff is just good at hiding it.
Tries her best to hide her ‘rich kid’ background and will go to great lengths to avoid talking about it
Growing up, with her mothers family being Fire Nation nobility Zuka and her sister were routine guest at the royal palace and know Iroh II fairly well.
